It may be a fairly old road test now, but we’ve nevertheless had some emails about a mistake we may have made on the specs of this family Scooby. Don’t bother to check now because we’ve fixed it, but in this article we originally said the Forester had 180mm of ground clearance, which is patently untrue as it actually has more like 220mm. Which makes a lot more sense, frankly.

Anyway, apologies for the mistake to you astute readers, and to Subaru as well. I know the dealer who pointed it out isn’t particularly pleased, saying that no-one will bother reading this apology and correction anyway, but, well, short of getting my time machine working and travelling backwards once I’ve fixed my own human nature to be infallible and reposting the original article, there’s really not very much more that can be done! So….

Sorry Forester!
